Sperrin Construction was formed in 2019 by brothers Gavin and Richard Kelly with a straightforward goal: do exterior remediation and remodeling the right way, keep homeowners informed, and do not take shortcuts on the work. Together, Gavin and Richard bring more than 30 years of combined hands-on trade experience to the residential exterior work we do across Newtown Square and Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Our Story
Built on Trade Experience and a No-Shortcut Philosophy
Before forming Sperrin Construction, Gavin and Richard were trade-trained in Ireland and spent years working on substantial builder warranty-related exterior projects. That background gave them experience opening exterior assemblies, evaluating what had gone wrong beneath the surface, and rebuilding damaged areas correctly when conditions required it.
That experience still shapes how we approach the work today. We do not assume an exterior problem is purely cosmetic when there may be more happening underneath. If we open an assembly and find deteriorated sheathing, compromised framing, or moisture-related damage, we address the conditions that are actually there.
